Why Do People Lie

I think the reason why most people lie is because they are afraid of having a punishment. For example, if you go to court, is the criminal who stole, killed, or smuggled going to tell that they commited the crime. They will plead not guilty and let their lawyer do the talking. Another example is that if you are little and you go into your mom's closet and find the presents for Christmas, are you going to tell her that you saw them? You wouldn't want to tell her for fear she might take the presents back.

Busy

Today is my busiest day. I have science, logic, soccer, leadership, and church. Gotta go!

Apple Picking

On Sunday we went apple picking in Solvang for my sister's birthday. It was very fun! We picked Figi and Granny Smith apples. After that, we went and got Ice cream. I got chocolate chip. It was delicious.

Stuck

My sisters and I went to our tennis lesson. After it was over, we went to get in the car. My mom was talking on the phone with a distressed voice, when she got off we asked what the problem was. It turned out that our car's battery was dead. My mom called her friend and she sent her husband who was going back to work, he was on his lunch break, to jumpstart our car. He came quickly and our car started.

Birthday Bash #3

Wow! This is the third birthday that I have written about-lots of birthdays in my family. Tomorrow is my oldest sister's birthday. She is turning 15! It is very exciting. Pretty soon she can start driving. Well, got to go.

Qualities That I Look for in a Friend

What are the qualities that I would look for in a friend? One, I think, would be that we would have a lot of the same intrests. Another would be if we enjoyed each other's company. I would like my friend to be considerate of others, and kind to all.

Soccer Game

On Saturday we won our soccer game for the first time. Actually, the second time. In the beginning, it was a very close game tied 1-1. Then in the fourth quarter we both scored making the score tied 2-2. Then all of a sudden, we scored three goals and the game was over. It was so fun to beat the team because we thought we were going to loose to them.

Soccer Saturday Part 2: Birthday Bash

After the soccer games we hopped on the freeway and headed to Orange County for my cousins 1st birthday party. It took us four hours to get there. When we finally got there, we had a lot of fun playing with our cousins. After the party was over, we went to my Grandma's and spent the night. The next morning we drove home.

Soccer Saturday Part 1

We had a very busy day on Saturday. We had three soccer games to go to. I had sprained my ankle so I was not able to play. My game was at 9:00. I went to watch the game. When my game was over, I walked one field over to go to one of my sister's games. Her game started late so by the time we got to my littlest sister's game, she was in tears. She was so upset because #2 on the other team pushed her down three times and scored 4 goals in one quarter. She braved it up and went back in and guarded #2 for the rest of the game.

Mischievous Mice

We are having a mice problem. There are mice in three different places in our house. Our dog is going wild. We had the exterminater come yesterday. He set a lot of traps. He found that the reason why the mice were getting in is because these screens that we have in the garage have a hole in them. He has to come back today to finish fixing the screens.
